Hello! Welcome into my “not quite daily” painting studio, where you’ll find fun stuff going on – trying new things, perfecting others, and enjoying life. Embracing the joy in everyday things makes for great memories, happiness and cherished moments. A painting can rekindle those special times, or perhaps be the cornerstone to launch a new one! My greatest desire is to paint more days than not, and share life’s joy with others through art. Thanks for joining my journey!

About the Artist

Johnna’s philosophy is life is about making memories. In 2008, Johnna made practicing art a priority and began taking professional art lessons. Since then she has immersed herself in classes and workshops with several well known local and national award-winning artists. Each instructor, and their approach, continues to integrate with Johnna’s artistic journey.

Early in 2013, Johnna was delighted to be accepted into a Carol Marine Daily Paintworks workshop and hasn’t been the same since. Carol had a profound effect on her style, medium and approach to painting. This shift has resulted in her “not quite daily painting” practice, where she is trying new things, perfecting others, and having a good time. Embracing the joy in everyday things makes for great memories, happiness and cherished moments. A painting can rekindle those special times, or perhaps be the cornerstone to launch a new one. Her greatest desire is to paint more days than not, and strive to paint every day.

What makes me happiest is when a person shares a memory that was triggered by one of my paintings or when they tell me why they “have to have” one. What a thrill it is that my work delights someone and then we get to share the joy together!

Johnna’s collectors are located from Hawaii to Virginia, Maine to Florida, United Kingdom and Europe.
