Loudoun Sketch Club

Creating and Supporting the Visual Arts in Loudoun County, Virginia since 1944.

Membership

**The club’s popularity has made it necessary to temporarily close our membership. If you would like to be on the waiting list, please complete this online form . We will contact you and post when the club will be open to new members.**

Membership includes access to our “paint-out” plein air sessions every Tuesday from 10 am – 2 pm at various scenic locations around Loudoun County and the surrounding region (some private and some public) that are coordinated by our Outdoor Committee each year. During the winter months it provides access to several member-only workshops on various topics, often hosted by talent from within the club, and arranged each year by our Workshops Committee. The Loudoun Sketch Club also presents its members opportunities each year to show their work in member-only shows, arranged by our Show Committee. Membership also includes access to our informative bi-monthly newsletter, web-presence on our “Member’s Page” of this website, and access to a private Facebook group to interact with fellow members. The Sketch Club also occasionally hosts social events, pop-up sales, and other fun opportunities for our members.

New members are added once a year in the Fall. The number of new members admitted is determined by club vote and varies. Acceptance is first-come-first-serve to those who have applied via the waitlist link above. Membership dues are currently paid by September 30 and are $30 for the year.

We encourage all new members to fill out the Volunteer Form  with their application and to apply for at least one volunteer activity. The club is founded and run on a completely volunteer-based system and counts on its members to keep us active and thriving! Plus, volunteering is a fantastic way to meet everyone and get involved right away! Don’t know what to help with? Let us know your talents and we’d be happy to recommend a position or committee that might need your expertise!
