    This was Areej's 4th time participating with Loudoun Cares Organization. It was a group show and fundraising to help and support local artists and community members. She sold two oil on panel artworks during this show, Titles: Reflection and Lavender Gifts Shop. I happy and honored.

    Connecting those who serve with those in need, the vital programs of Loudoun Cares help our most vulnerable residents find needed resources and support. The annual auction features the work of local DMV artists. Proceeds support both the artists and the mission to serve. NOVAIS partners will once again host at:

    The Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) Building in Herndon

    Theresa's artwork “Vineyard in the Valley” has been selected as the winner of the Loudoun Heights Agritourism Council wine label contest. The label will be featured on their 2022 Valle Tranquilo wine to be released next fall. The artwork was created in pastels.

    Several Loudoun Sketch Club members have been juried into in the Fall Art at the Mill show in the quaint village of Millwood, Virginia which transforms into one of the mid-Atlantic's premier art event venues each year.  The show runs from:  September 23 through October 8, 2023.

    Artist reception is on Sunday, October 1, 2pm to 5pm

    The Burwell Morgan Mill is located at 15 Tannery Lane, Millwood, VA 22646

    The full gallery will be available: ART @ THE MILL GALLERY where you can see and purchase paintings, mixed-media, sculpture, fine woodworking, and pottery from around 300 hundreds artists and more than a thousand pieces of art.

    Art for Lahaina, HI

    Online Auction

    Art For Lahaina is an initiative addressed to support communities and families of Lahaina who lost their homes and many of their properties. I am one of the artists who created artwork and donating its revenue to help and support the cause.

    The show will be virtual and bidding will run Friday 15 September - 24 September for the public. For more info: Artists for Lahaina.   Areej's painting is in Gallery Ekolu. The Artists for Lahaina auction features nearly 1,000 paintings from artists around the world, with a total valuation of nearly $1 million.

    By bidding on work in the auction, you can play a role in Lahaina’s recovery. All proceeds will go to the Maui Pono Foundation, a direct relief organization begun by several Lahaina families right after the fire.

    Award-winning painter Anne Stine debuts her latest collection of encaustic works titled, “Every Rock Has a Story,” from Sept. 7 - Oct. 15, at the Athenaeum Gallery located in Alexandria, Virginia. Her collection of 20 geological paintings explores the interconnection between Earth and humanity through representational and abstract imagery.

    Reception October 1, 4-6 pm
