Loudoun Sketch Club

Creating and Supporting the Visual Arts in Loudoun County, Virginia since 1944.

We are the first art organization in Loudoun County.  Our membership is over 160 strong. Every artist brings their unique skill set to the party. We are novices, hobbyists, teachers and professionals. We work en plein air and in the studio. We create with a brush, a knife, a camera, a pastel stick and so much more. There are members who have been in LSC for decades and others who have just joined for the first time. What runs through all of us is a passion for art. We all bare our souls through creative expression. And we love it.

We have a busy year ahead with more exhibitions in which our members may participate than we have ever had. I’ll give you a quick summary that begins NOW!

Thank you all sincerely for placing your confidence in me to lead the club through our 75th anniversary.  I look forward to working with the club to fulfill goals that have already been set. I look forward to getting to know all of you a little better.   As I always say, “Art inspires. It is for everyone!”

Let’s enjoy our 75th anniversary year together to the fullest!
