Artist Statement:
Vicky Zhou is an architect and an award-winning plein air painter whose work focuses on local scenes. Working primarily on location, she captures the unique atmosphere and character of each setting. Her paintings convey a strong sense of place, reflecting the energy, stories, and visual rhythms of the environments she observes. By incorporating local color and the ever-changing conditions of the landscape, her work offers an authentic and immediate response to the world around her. She is a signature member of Baltimore Watercolor Society.
