Sarah Entsminger
"Sunset"
Gallery One
Leesburg, VA
Sarah will have a solo show in Gallery One at the Loudoun County Government Building, 1 Harrison Street, Leesburg VA, from July 1, 2024 through August 2, 2024. The exhibit is titled "Sightlines". The horizon line is where the sky ends in any given view of the natural world. This exhibit includes a variety of landscapes with a clear horizon line. A horizon line has long been the focus of her artwork and allows her to create a sense of place that illustrates memories or places in her imagination. Her work uses the line to focus a viewer’s attention on what she wants to emphasize in a landscape. The horizon line ties her work together in a singular way. “Sightlines” includes work that is primarily textile in nature, tinted monoprints and collage.
