Artist Statement:
Ms Dora Ramirez, a Puerto Rico native, has lived in Northern Virginia for over 30 years. She and her husband Gerry D’Onofrio are co-owners of GerDora Photography specializing in fine art photography and portraits. Dora has won a number of awards, among them, first place at ArtSpace Herndon Fine Art Photography Exhibit and Waterford Fair. Dora shows her fine art photography at regional art shows and galleries and GerDora Photography's website gerdora.com.
She participated in the Portrait Masters, an international portrait competition where thousands of photographers from around the globe submitted some 11,000 images in nine portrait categories. It was a great honor that two of the two submitted portraits created by Dora received Bronze Awards in the Contemporary Portrait category.
