Artist Statement:
UNFORGETTABLE INDELIBLE IMAGES IN OILS
Leanne Fink is a fine artist from Hamilton, Virginia who paints vibrant contemporary landscapes in oil and cold wax. Her art is expressive and representational.
Since early childhood, Fink has been drawing and painting. She holds a BFA from Seton Hall University and a Doctorate from Life Chiropractic College. Her portfolio includes land/urban-scapes from near and far as well as visionary dreamscapes.
LEANNE FINK IS INSPIRED BY BEAUTY. She states, "It touches my heart and soul, and spills over into my art. I paint in oil and cold wax using a visual vocabulary of color and texture.
"Art is for everyone to enjoy. I believe that a visually dynamic painting can awaken the senses and move the spirit, change a viewpoint, uplift and heal. This is my goal for
every creation."
FINK IS REPRESENTED BY DISTRICT ARTS GALLERY in Frederick, MD. Her work is currently on exhibit at the US Embassy in A mman, Jordan through the US Department of State's Art in Embassies Program. Her paintings can be found in corporate and private collections worldwide. She has received awards of excellence for her work. Affiliations include American Women Artists, Manhattan Arts International, National Oil & Acrylic Painters Society, The Art League-Alexandria, AIM Gallery, Loudoun Sketch Club.
