Artist Statement:
"To me,paintings are portals,filled with ideas and emotions",says,Lizzy,explaining her artistic philosphy. Paint to please yourself. Get messy. Use your imagination and give yourself freedom of expression.
Art is like breathing-it is an integral part of my everyday life. I like to capture my travel adventures by using my own photographs to work from. This helps to develop my own interpretation of what I saw. Instead of reproducing exactly what I see in my photos, I let freedom of expression lead me to experiment with different colors, textures and dimensions.
