Day at the Museum

Join us for a day at the National Gallery of Art. We’ll meet at 10:00 AM at the Rotunda in the West Building before heading in to view the exhibition American Landscapes in Watercolor (closing February 1).

Afterward, we can stop by the easels of the LSC member copyists and then enjoy lunch together. We can spend the afternoon making thumbnail sketches of artworks that inspire us, and you’re welcome to head home at your leisure.

NOTES:

• Bring a friend - guest registration is allowed.
• You can park on the streets starting at 9:30 and if you arrive around 9:30 then you can usually get a spot.
• The nearest Metro station is Archives-Navy Memorial Penn Quarter, a 6-minute walk from the West Building.
• If you are late to the meet up at the Rotunda, head to the exhibition and meet us there.
