Dates for 2026 Western Loudoun Art and Studio Tour Set, June 5-7, 2026
Call for Artists is Open 11/4/2025
Visual artists can apply online beginning November 4, 2025, for the 19th annual Western Loudoun Art and Studio Tour, to be held June 5, 6, and 7, 2026.
Eligible Loudoun artists working in all visual media may apply to this juried event. Those selected will open their studios to the public for two or three full days, presenting their work to visitors from the metropolitan region. Last year’s tour brought more than a thousand visitors into more than 40 studios and arts centers, allowing artists to connect with a targeted audience, increasing their visibility and providing an opportunity to promote, share and sell their work.
Professional and emerging visual artists whose studios in Western Loudoun County meet specified criteria may apply as Studio Artists. Visual artists who live and produce their artwork in Loudoun County but do not have a Western Loudoun studio suitable for visitors may apply as Guest Artists. Two- and three-dimensional work will be considered, including but not limited to painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, fiber art, wood, ceramics, glass, metalwork, sculpture, and jewelry.
The deadline for submission is 11:59 PM, January 31, 2026, with no exceptions.
Frequently asked questions and answers about participating on the tour can be found at www.wlast.org/artists/artist-faqs.htm. All applications must be submitted using CaFE, an online platform here: www.callforentry.org. Applicants will be notified of their jury status in mid-February, 2026.
The Studio Tour promotes Loudoun art and artists while it draws attention to the county as a cultural and scenic destination. The tour is a joint project of Franklin Park Arts Center, Friends of Franklin Park Arts Center, and Round Hill Arts Center.
The Delaplaine’s National Juried Exhibition is an annual show featuring works in a variety of media by artists from around the region and nation. All media are eligible, including but not limited to: painting, printmaking, photography, ceramics, drawing, installation, and sculpture.
Deadline for Entries: March 23, 2025
Notification of Jury Results: April 2, 2025

February 14 –March 9 A View From My Window Open call for entries
This exhibit focuses the eye on what you see from your window – photographs, paintings, sketches, 3D works are
all welcome. This exhibit is a nod to the worldwide movement that began during the pandemic lockdown, to connect us
all by sharing the views we had from our windows to the outside world. Your entry can be from any window, but for
this exhibit, we ask that it be a REAL view – not an imagined one. Work using AI will not be accepted for this exhibit.
For inspiration, we encourage artists to check out

Franklin Park Arts Center Exhibit "Yin and Yang" Artists are invited to submit artwork that shows the complement of opposites. Yin and Yang are two complementary principles of Chinese philosophy. Yin is negative, dark, and feminine, Yang positive, bright, and masculine. Their interaction is thought to maintain the harmony of the universe and to influence everything within it.
Your artwork should show a connection of opposites – cold and warm, smooth and rough, clear and opaque, for examples. Though the symbol of yin and yang is often in black and white, your submission may be in color.
Artwork using or created with AI must be noted on the entry form
Drop off dates: January 6 and 7 from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Entry fees for exhibit art are $20 per artist, submit up to three pieces
